17th March 2007

Weather: Clear
Max Speed: 26.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 15.5 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Arrived around 4 o'clock, conditions looked great. By the time I rigged my 7.0 (had a bit of trouble with the cams) there was a bit of a squall blowing through and a couple of people seemed to be hanging on to their 6.0 m. My mate was still out on his 7.6 so after 5 minutes of standing watching finally went out.

I think I hit it just right, perfect 7.0m conditions, had an hour of classic blasting before the light was going and the wind felt like it was dropping. Made some good gybes (plus some crap ones!!). Spent most of the time locked in battle with my mate, great head to head stuff (I'm sure he'd tell it differently, he'd say he was waiting for me!).
